DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE "LOCKSMITH" MARKETING COMPANIES YOU FIND ON GOOGLE AND THEIR "STARTING PRICES", THEY WILL ALWAYS CHARGE YOU MORE ONCE THEY ARE ON SITE.
In my 11 years in the locksmith business I have encountered many locksmith companies that heavily advertise on Google. Most of them on the first few google search pages are unlicensed marketing companies with a hundred different generic operating names and phone numbers and they wont think twice about sending an unregistered technician who hasn't undergone a background check to your house. They can be very deceiving in their advertising just to get a technician on site who will charge you an overly inflated price or threaten to call the police if you refuse the service and refuse to pay the $19 service call. DON'T GET FOOLED!
MEET BEN!
After living in New York for 11 years Ben was ready for another life adventure, and with no job or place to live lined up, not even one person he knew to contact once he got there, he packed up as much of his stuff that could fit in his rusty old Nissan and returned to the wonderful state in which he was born, TEXAS!
When he arrived in Austin in June of 2010 he quickly found a place to live and a job in a restaurant. But after meeting a locksmith in an unlikely situation, he immediately quit his restaurant job and began his locksmith career in which he became a self proclaimed locksmith hero! A few years later in 2017, he and his lovely wife Amanda purchased an amazing historic house in downtown Taylor to start a new family and a new family business.
Besides working with locks, Ben keeps busy with his 2 year old baby, Willamina, and of course his dog Tumbler, and cat Arugula. You might spot him cruising around Murphy Park on his unicycle, doing circles in the sky on his hang glider, or playing guitar at Taylor's local music spots.
We just celebrated 5 YEARS since starting this little business and moving to Taylor. Life is fantastic and were ready to see this small town go through some big changes for the next 2 decades while we raise our daughter.
